I bring 20+ years (gasp) of diverse marketing experience. It all began in the nascent days of pay-per-click, when Yahoo was Overture and Google wasn’t profitable. As Bob Dylan sings, things have changed. Today, while continuing as always in the digital space, I also focus on brand strategy, go-to-market strategy, and working with clients to build and manage teams. I white label with other agencies and I consult via my own agency, this agency right here, OE. Roles have included: agency founder (x2), leadership and mentoring, educator, manager, brand strategist, go-to-market strategist, business development, client cultivation, communications including public relations, media planning, account-based marketing (ABM), content creation, and website development. I’ve served on the boards of two startups. I was the chair of the NCIA’s Marketing & Advertising Committee. And I’ve been an integral part of the journey of building a SaaS marketing automation product that got acquired, from naming to communications to closing the deal.
I’ve worked in a variety of industries including real estate and home building, architecture, banking and finance, cyber security, SaaS, healthcare including mental health, energy, and cannabis.
What else? Got a great dog, Fiona. Got a great husband, Keith, a social worker. Love to travel. Love to read. Love live music. I try to maintain a constant curiosity and always be open to the new and the interesting. We only get one go at this so I figure let’s do it well, with meaning, with passion, and with a sense of fun.
